Panel Beater/Bodywork Prep Technician

We are looking for experienced bodywork technicians with the following key skills/willingness to learn;

  • Vehicle strip/fit
  • Filler work/body shaping including blocking/sanding ready for primer
  • Paint preparation/masking
  • Body repair skills including panel gapping, welding/fabrication would be a distinct advantage

Mechanic/Restoration Technician

We are looking for a junior technician with a minimum of a Level 2 NVQ qualification or equivalent with the following key skills/willingness to learn;

  • Restoration and overhaul of vehicle parts including replacing wheel bearings/bushes and building entire vehicle sub-assemblies
  • Servicing and maintenance of vehicles
  • Tyre fitting & wheel alignment
  • Vehicle strip/fit
  • Media blasting of vehicles and vehicle parts including dry and wet blasting

This is a junior role suitable for a technician with their own tools and willingness to learn/adapt to the restoration industry.

Salary depending on experience (junior role).

MIG & TIG Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder

We are looking for a MIG & TIG Welder/Fabricator and also a Coachbuilder with the following key skills/willingness to learn;

  • MIG welding of vehicle bodywork and chassis repairs to an original look/extremely high restoration standard
  • Fitment of pre-fabricated repair sections
  • Fabrication of custom repair sections
  • TIG welding of aluminium, stainless steel and experience fitting roll cages would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience with forming sheet metal using an english wheel, pullmax, planishing hammer, dimple dies and bead rollers etc would be a distinct advantage

Service & Parts Manager

We are looking for a Service & Parts Manager with the following key skills;

  • Extremely high level of IT skills including experience with workshop management apps/dealer management systems
  • Highly literate and must possess exceptional communication skills - over the phone/face to face and via email/social media
  • Technician management - ensuring technician times are accurately recorded against tasks
  • Parts management and raising/managing purchase orders
  • Sourcing of obsolete/difficult to find vehicle parts for a wide range of projects
  • Parts purchasing/sales and general administration experience
  • Quality control checks/checking vehicles in & out
  • Project management of restoration projects and short term repairs
  • Creating highly detailed vehicle repair estimates (mechanical and bodyshop)
  • Highly organised and used to working in a fast paced environment and meeting strict targets
  • Business management experience would be a distinct advantage
